DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
This position assists the Municipal Clerk in the
performance and accomplishment of the duties of the Municipal Clerk as directed by the Municipal Clerk or Board of Trustees.
The person occupying this position should have,
as a minimum, the ability to maintain effective
working relations with employees and officials:
ability to organize and present effective oral and
written reports; thorough knowledge of modern
office practices and procedures, knowledge of
bookkeeping and accounting methods; knowledge of computer usage; knowledge of automated
accounting and office systems, ability to project
positive public relations with the citizenry.
Must be able to be bonded.
Examples of Duties:
Assists the Municipal Clerk with any of the Clerk's duties or Responsibilities as delegated by the Clerk or directed by the Board and acts as Clerk/Treasurer in the absence of the Clerk.
