Brief Summary of Job Description
Teach selected undergraduate courses. Supervise student practicum in the College of Education on-campus clinic, telepractice, and at community clinical outreach activities. Assist the department Clinic Coordinator in overseeing and maintaining the inventory of diagnostic and treatment instruments and materials essential to quality provision of services. Help assure quality of student clinical education and ethical provision of clinical service in compliance with appropriate standards for program accreditation and student credentialing. Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department of Communication Disorders or the Dean of the College.
Job Duties
UNK is a wireless-enabled campus. CDIS Department offices, technology-enhanced classrooms, computer labs, the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, and the Speech and Hearing Sciences Laboratory are housed in the College of Education Building.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in speech-language pathology; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC/SLP) and Nebraska State License (or immediate eligibility).
Preferred Qualifications
Prior university teaching and/or supervisory experience, experience in clinical service delivery to youth with acquired communication disorders.
