The Opportunity

The DASH Business Analyst will work as part of the DASH Infrastructure team that is responsible for, among other things, the application security module, and Risk Management Console application in Oracle.

Additionally, the position works closely with the DASH Customer Success Team, which is responsible for the documentation, Help Desk, training, and other support for the University's Enterprise-wide Software Solutions. This position works with university employees statewide at all campuses and institutes.

Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Application Security - User Account and Role Management:
    • Complete on-line Oracle University asynchronous training on relevant application security topics.
    • Provision, remove, edit, and monitor user access to the DASH system.
    • Monitor the shared DASH security inbox and work with campus contacts to resolve issues.
    • Create and edit end-user roles.
    • Monitor system logs and custom audit reports for system integrity.
    • Work with the Risk Management Console tool to monitor and resolve segregation of duties (SOD) violations and other access concerns.
  • Workflow Support:
    • Support workflow administrators with work item routing, workflow development, and troubleshooting in DASH.
  • Help Desk:
    • Provide customer support to end users of the Enterprise-Wide Software Systems via email, phone, and TDX ticketing software system.
    • Update the status of requests in the Help Desk email account and TDX ticketing software system.
  • Research and analyze business functionality of the University's new and existing software systems and related components, including quarterly Oracle upgrades and reported problems.
  • Develop and implement testing scenarios to ensure software systems function as expected after implementation of enhancements and quarterly Oracle upgrades; develop potential solutions if the functionality does not work as anticipated.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Education/ExperienceThe successful candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree in computer, communications, or business related field and minimum of 1 year related experience or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Knowledge of cloud based software systems
  • Computer skills
  • Customer Service skills
  • Communication skills (written and oral)
  • Conscientious attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues via phone or email and communicate with employees from diverse backgrounds of computer knowledge
  • Ability to thoroughly document processes
  • Ability to work in a team environment, where individual sacrifices are made to reach team goals and deadlines
The preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in a computer, communication, or business related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, training and education..

The preferred candidate will:
  • Experience applying change management skills and practices for a large-scale software implementation.
  • Experience supporting ERP software systems, especially Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
  • Experience working in Higher Ed
  • Experience with the Oracle Fusion Cloud platform.
