The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg invites applications for a one-year visiting full-time Assistant Professor of Biochemistry. A Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a closely related field is required. ABD near completion will be considered.

Pitt Greensburg values candidates with a commitment to in-person undergraduate teaching, campus and community service, experience in working in diverse groups, and the ability to involve undergraduates in research. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach a 4/4 load. Candidates will be able to teach Biochemistry, General Biology, and Biology Undergraduate Research, as well as possible upper-level courses for biology and biochemistry majors related to the candidate's area of specialization. Additionally, candidates should be prepared to devote time to service and professional development as part of their appointment.

The application package should include a letter of application, a current curriculum vitae, a description of teaching accomplishments and philosophy, a statement of research, research plans involving undergraduates, graduate and undergraduate transcripts, and contact information for three references.
