Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Job Description

This position will provide cared for patients within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through the use of the nursing process during the patients clinic visits at Capital Regional Medical Center. This position will work collaboratively with the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians treating in a high volume clinic setting. working with patients with Spine and Comprehensive pain issues.

-Evaluation, management, treatment of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation patients in an outpatient clinic setting for patients with spine disorders.

-Collaborate with the physician and other healthcare professionals in the development of treatment goals and care plans and coordinate services and treatments in order to implement and accomplish these goals and plans

- Evaluation of patients following interventional spine procedures and collaborate subsequent management.

- Act as a resource person for patents families, nursing staff and other health care professionals in area of expertise, effectively intercede with families and patients and resolve concerns related to the delivery of health care services

- May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. Other clinical duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

NURSE PRACTIONER QUALIFICATIONS

Master of Science in Nursing degree. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days. Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT QUALIFCATIONS

Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Preferred Qualifications

NURSE PRACTIONER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Possess a specialty certificate by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board (PCNB), or the National Certification Corporation (NCC). Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

PHYSICIAN ASSISANT QUALIFCIATIONS

Specialty certificate by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Nephrology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry.
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: Hiring Range: [$90,251- $147,285 Yearly]; [$43.39-$70.81 Hourly]
