Language proficiency proven by high school or college diploma from Spanish speaking country or third party proficiency evaluation or test.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motion (such as typing); walking including pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs. The conditions of work may involve regular exposure to loud noises, intermittent exposure to blood borne/airborne pathogens and combative/violent people, and occasional exposure to cuts and punctures.
Shift
Days, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, and other days and hours as needed.
Job Summary
Comprehensive Breast Care Center is seeking a Patient Relations Assistant/Bilingual to register and check-out patients, assist in Spanish phone scheduling phone calls, and any additional front desk operational duties.
Will check in, check out, schedule patient appointments, answer phones and triage patients to ensure they are connected with the proper staff. Also involves cash collections, schedule ancillary services, obtain pre-certifications, correct registration of patients into the system and verify insurance and demographic data. Will reconcile end of day process, provide excellent customer service, monitor wait times expectations and resolve patient complaints in an empathetic and timely fashion. Provide teamwork and leadership to prevent and resolve service failure process problems.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Ability to read, write and speak Spanish; medical terminology, excellent customer service skills.

Preferred Education/Experience
Four or more years related experience preferred.
