Pioneer Memorial Rest Home Administrator (35 hours weekly) oversees a wide landscape of differing terrain which includes the following:

  • Managing PMRH facility's staff from hiring, training, and evaluation to scheduling
  • Controlling PMRH finances and design budgets under supervision of an accountant and in accordance with directives from PMRH Board of Directors
  • Managing billing and reimbursement
  • Monitoring and preparing payroll
  • Reporting to PMRH Board of Directors
  • Ensuring that PMRH is complying with federal, state, and local regulations in the delivery of resident care, in the safety of the building, and in the security of resident data
  • Acting as residents' advocate, serving as a liaison between staff, residents, families, and caregivers
  • Establishing operating policies and procedures for all departments
  • Meeting with all staff, as well as, department leads
  • Establishing a Safety Program including Fire and Disaster Plans
  • Establishing and maintaining public relations and promotion program. Participation is community health activities. Representing PMRH at all top level meetings and institutes or delegating a representative
  • Reviewing physical structure of facility and directing repairs, new construction, and replacement where necessary, following directives of the PMRH Board of Directors
  • Maintaining facility's insurance programs - liability, workmen's compensation, and unemployment compensation.
