Maintenance Technician
2nd Shift (3-11 pm)

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
• Professional certifications preferred (ie, welder, journeyman)
• 2 years experience in industrial maintenance, including experience/knowledge of
• Welding
• Electrical
• Programmable controllers
• Hydraulics/Pneumatics
• Plumbing
• Machine
• Electronics
• Blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals
Other Skills and Abilities required:
• Proficient on computer
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, brazing, soldering, and welding equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to read and understand ladder diagrams
• Self-motivated/self-starter
• Dependable
• Willing to work extended hours during the week and/or weekends
• Work in a team environment
• Other duties as needed.
Researches, analyzes, designs, and tests component parts, processes, or systems to develop new and/or implement
Job Responsibilities:
• Inspect and measure machine parts to detect wear, misalignment, and/or other potential problems
• Remove and replace worn or defective parts of drive mechanism or hydraulic system
• Realign and adjust machine components
• Locate and replace damaged air and hydraulic lines on machines
• Test operation of machines and equipment following repair
• Repair broken machine parts
• Install and rearrange complex equipment
• Troubleshoot, plan, and perform all mechanical and electrical operations necessary to modify, dismantle, repair, overhaul, and rebuild all types of machinery
• Complete all paperwork as required
• Participate in high performance teams
• Other duties, as assigned/needed
