 Summary:

Office responsibilities include basic accounts payable duties; invoice vouchering, check preparation, and managing files.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
  • Performs bookkeeping tasks such as goods receipt and accounts payable functions; as well as maintaining Vendor files and responding to emails in a professional manner.
  • Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.
  • Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.
  • Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables.
  • Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment.
  • Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.
  • Assemble and review invoices to be completed for payment.

  • Employee must be able to work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years administrative assistant or receptionist experience with executives or senior level managers.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable
  • Experience with SAP
