Legacy Vacation Resorts is looking for an experienced Revenue Manager with at least 5 years Hospitality Revenue (ADR, occupancy) Management experience Possess expert knowledge of Excel, including but not limited to, internal functions, user-defined functions, database access and management, and VBA.
POSITION SUMMARY
Maximize Rental revenue portfolio through development and implementation of effective transient, wholesale and group inventory and pricing strategies based on future demand forecasts.
Some of the functions for this position are;
• Create comprehensive dashboards with aligned key performance indicators showing internal and external comparisons driving continuous improvement
• Prepare weekly and monthly and forecasts. Orchestrate and lead daily revenue meetings with Revenue team members and Resort Managers.
• Lead and oversee the revenue management strategy, leading discussions and decisions in effective communication with Resort Managers and corporate leaders on all revenue-impacted items.
• Identify, develop and manage opportunities to increase revenues and decrease costs, preempting problems before they impact our business, anticipating future trends, and developing others as appropriate.
• Determine pricing, restriction and inventory strategies for every day of the year based on pace, demand, competition, market trends and budget, continually reviewing and updating as needed.
• Ensure optimal setup of brand, to include third-party channels, room types and rate categories, including types of discounts available and pricing tiers. Monitor process updates to include new packages, general resort data, room pool information, rate details, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience: Five years hospitality revenue management experience required.
Computer Skills
Expert knowledge of Excel, including but not limited to, internal functions, user-defined functions, database access and management, and VBA. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office.
Other Requirements
Experience in an analytical capacity applying mathematical probability and statistical theory, modeling, and analysis to solving complex business problems.
