Operations/Logistics Manager

Kurtz Rural Aviation in Mound City, MO is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of operations/logistics manager.

EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inventory and Vendor Relations
• Map and create work orders for growers
• Discuss pesticides and crop enhancement products with growers and any
discounts/programs available, and timing of applications
• Create price lists with per acre pricing for growers
• Knowledge of financial tools and online data reporting
• Cover Crop paperwork programs (Agron forms)
• Awareness of all per acre input costs associated with row crop production
• Provide as-applied data
• Assist with questions, greet customers, public relations
• Online and Media presence consultant
• Continued training regarding agricultural application, i.e. state meetings,
chemical company updates
• Management of support staff and logistics, including training, safety
meetings and day-to-day operations

QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in the agricultural field is needed
• Willingness to work with the public
• Production agriculture knowledge is helpful
• This job requires long hours during the “busy season,” is a fast-paced environment and one needs to be focused along with always keeping safety and efficiency in mind

Necessary training will be provided
