General Summary

Talwar College of Engineering and Computer Sciences is seeking qualified individuals to join our adjunct hiring pool to express their interest in future, part-time teaching undergraduate courses assignments at Indiana Tech. Qualified candidates would have knowledge in Networking, PC Hardware and Software Support, Wireless & Mobile Communication, Server Systems, and Network Design & Administration. Additional courses from other areas of computer science may also be available. This position is face-to-face teaching at the Fort Wayne campus.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Course goals and objectives are set by the dean. Additionally:
  • Engage with students in a manner that optimizes student success.
  • Deliver effective courses and laboratories to meet the program learning outcomes.
  • Ability to work with a diverse student population.
  • Desire to increase access and success in higher education for underrepresented students.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of Master's Degree in Networking, Computer Science, or related field. (Ph.D. preferred)
  • College-level teaching experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population.
  • Demonstrated evidence of strong written and oral communication.
  • Experience with a Learning Management System preferred.
Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a typical classroom environment.
