Job Responsibilities:

Perform work outlined on maintenance and repair orders to ensure customer satisfaction

Diagnose the cause of any malfunctions and repair them in a timely mannerProvide labor and time estimates for additional repairs Be able to explain mechanical problems and needed repairs to Service Advisors and vehicle owners in a non-technical manner Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systems Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Ensure customer satisfaction at all times Perform basic maintenance, including changing oil, rotating tires, and checking fluid levels Ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required Completion of a post secondary program in automotive service technology a plus but not required Stable history as an automotive technician

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred, but not required Basic computer skills

Strong communication skills GM, Chrysler, or Ford experience is a plus Must have a valid drivers license

Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle check

Must be willing to relocate to Imperial Nebraska or surrounding area (must be commutable distance) Dealership Benefits:
