Great Plains Health is seeking multiple Hematologists/Medical Oncologists to provide medical services in North Platte & the surrounding region. Provide full-time services for cancer center & Hospital-owned or affiliated area clinics. Provide inpatient, outpatient, & clinic hematology/medical oncology services through Hospital & outreach clinics. Provide timely & clear documentation & diagnosis for coding, including dictation of evaluations, and diagnostic consultations to Hospital medical staff & staff referrals. Perform medical audits & prepare records. Provide clinical supervision of non-medical professional staff. Participate in educational programs and Hospital committees & in review and revision of policies, procedures, rules, and regulations for service areas. Full-time employment of 40 hours/week with on-call & weekend duties. Travel to outreach clinics in neighboring counties required. Requires MD or ECFMG equivalent; completion of 3 year Internal Medicine residency training (may include 1-year internship or transitional training) & 3 year Hematology/Oncology fellowship training; BC in Internal Medicine & BC/BE in Hematology & Oncology; & current NE medical license.
