Job Summary

Coordinates the operations of the Community Engagement Core and research projects, including coordinating meetings, maintaining communication with team members, investigators, and consultants, and handling event logistics such as scheduling and drafting presentations. Performs data collection, assisting with the distribution of participant incentives, and contributing to social media strategy for the research center.
  • Coordinates the day-to-day operational needs of the Community Engagement Core and other research projects as assigned.
  • Communicates regularly with other RCMI Cores and research project investigators, staff, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and event planning logistics including creating agendas, scheduling rooms, coordinating with IT, creating drafts of presentation slides, tabulating attendance data
  • Reports to supervisor or designee and participates in regular meetings with team members (in-person and/or virtual as designated).
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings as needed.
  • Maintains written documentation of all internal procedures and activities for progress reports.
  • Completes all requires trainings as directed to comply with Core and Research study SOPs.
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative data collection with research study participants
  • Collects dry blood spot samples from research participants following established protocols and safety standards. Ensure accurate labeling, storage, and transportation of samples, maintaining sample integrity throughout the process.
  • Assists the PI with study participant recruitment efforts and distribution of research participant incentives.
  • Works collaboratively to plan, develop, implement, and curate social media accounts for research center with other center staff.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with research or programs related to Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Access).
  • Familiarity with creating data visualizations (e.g., graphs in Excel).
  • Familiarity with social media planning for professional work environment.
