ESU 10 is seeking the following positions for 2020-2021
Teaching and Learning Coordinator 2020-2021 – Deadline to Apply: January 31st, 2020
ESU 10 seeks to fill this position with a person who has a blend or combination of the following qualifications, special knowledge & skills.
Job Goal: To support the ESU 10 mission through the delivery of effective and efficient professional development of educational processes as well as the support of district administrative applications to improve teaching and learning.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required; Master's degree in Education or related field preferred
• Minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience required
• Leadership experience in the continuous improvement process
Special Knowledge & Skills:
• High degree of professionalism including strong communication and public relations skills
• Ability to establish rapport and work in collaboration with school district and ESU personnel
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to use technology for effective collaboration, communication and instruction
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability and willingness to work independently and as a team member
• Willingness to support academic literacy and writing at the secondary level
• Knowledgeable in curriculum, instruction, assessment, leadership, educational technology and the continuous school improvement process
Major Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance and professional development as appropriate
• Design, develop and execute professional learning opportunities
• Research and promote new and effective trends in education
• Attend relevant training to gain/maintain skills and competencies required for effective execution of the job
• Provide support for all ESU 10 school districts (administrators, teachers, and staff) and ESU 10 staff, workshops, conferences, etc., both on and off-site
• Represent ESU 10 at local, regional, state and national conferences and/or trainings
• Willing to travel
• Other duties as assigned
Terms of Employment:
• FTE 1.0 with full-time benefits
• Salary based on education and experience
School Psychologist 2020-2021 – Deadline to apply: January 31st, 2020
Qualified applicants must have a Master's Degree in school psychology and a Nebraska Teaching Certificate. This is a185 day full time position. Part time candidates will be considered.
