Educational Service Unit 16, a regional education agency in West Central Nebraska serving a nine-county area, is accepting applications for a Teaching & Learning Consultant with a Math and/or Science focus for the 2022-2023 school year. Three or more years of teaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:
Provide training for teachers in all curricular areas, specifically math and/or science
Provide and ensure successful implementation of instructional practices such as development of curriculum, instructional models, adoption and implementation of high- quality instructional materials, use of technology, and personalized professional development for teachers
Model effective instructional practices, including the design and delivery of instruction, effective use of research based teaching strategies, implementation of flexible groupings and tiered interventions to improve student achievement
Provide teachers with professional development and coaching based on their individual needs
Use a data collection platform to analyze gaps in student achievement and to develop action plans that inform instruction and accelerate student achievement
