Emergency Dispatcher
The City of Holdrege is accepting applications for two Emergency Dispatcher positions. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent and be of exceptional moral character with no felony, domestic assault or serious misdemeanor convictions. Emergency Dispatch Officers are responsible for receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency law enforcement, fire and medical calls. The position requires excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, including operating computers, telephones and radio communications equipment and maintaining various written reports. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $19.36 - $23.36 per hour, commensurate with experience and paid training.
