Shop Foreman

A Shop Foreman is needed for Ammonia Refrigeration, Inc. in South Sioux City, Nebraska.

Qualified candidates for this full-time position must have the ability to manage shop personnel and take direction from the Project Management, Office and Field Foreman. The individual will track and order consumables and materials to ensure timely fabrication of required items. They will be responsible for everything from detailed drawings to loading final products out the door to various jobs.

They should have the knowledge and ability to properly operate and maintain shop equipment. This includes welding machines, telehandlers, automatic band saws, drill presses, shear equipment, hydraulic brake presses and plasma tables.

The ability to weld carbon and stainless steel and read fabrication drawings is a must.

Candidates must be reliable and punctual for a 5 to 5 ½ day work schedule. They will be responsible for opening and closing the shop and yard daily.

A valid driver’s license is required. The ability to speak and understand English is a must, but being bilingual with Spanish will be helpful but not required.
