As an Advance Local Strategist with NJ Advance Media, you'll be on the front line of new products and technologies, continually providing up-to-date solutions for clients and taking ownership of client success. You'll work with top accounts, developing and owning the market strategy and sales positioning, helping to cultivate account relationships through needs analysis, and identifying and implementing campaign plans.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop digital marketing strategies for existing clients, in partnership with department managers, account managers, sales reps, and creative teams, ensuring brand consistency across all client assets (including regular quality checks)
- Spearhead research efforts through data platforms as well as more traditional research avenues, and apply gained insights/data to create pitch-perfect digital briefs, customer journeys and campaign plans
- Stay up-to-date on current and emerging industry trends and technology to provide the most cutting-edge insights and guidance to clients and the agency at large
- Monitor and analyze performance across clients' digital channels to track engagement, providing insights from media monitoring, and performance analytics to help optimize client campaigns as needed
- Collaborate with fulfillment team guiding the development of client facing reporting dashboards
- Develop and optimize clients' overall digital content strategy, as well as measure engagement and impact over time
- Participate in client presentations and business development meetings as an expert in the digital marketing arena to add strategic support as needed
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience with multiple forms of digital media including social, mobile, video, display and search
- Excellent organization, data analysis, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
